Unique Exhibits

Tram car no. 204, acquired from Calcutta Tramways in September 2017, is one of the last few surviving wood-bodied trams. With a length of 57 feet and a width of 7 feet, it can house up to 61 passengers in a two-car articulated carriage. Even though the tram doesn't move, it deserves a visit.

The Jodhpur Saloon stationed amidst rail memorabilia at the museum has succeeded in resurrectin the glamorous past. The original Jodhpur Saloon is one of the most prized treasures of Heritage Transport Museum. It sits on its own period-themed platform, on authentic tracks.
